Job Description :We need an experienced multimedia journalist with a proven ability to identify issues and a track record of rock-solid reporting that holds governmental entities responsible to the communities they serve.
The job's primary responsibilities include developing the beat and covering issues related to the City Council and city administration and explaining how their actions affect residents of our town.
Candidates should have the ability to post news as it happens, write for print and online platforms, build audience and engagement through social media and shoot video. Experience with database reporting is a plus.
Strong analytical skills are essential. Skepticism is highly valued.

Job Description :Job responsibilities include overseeing a four-person sports staff that covers three universities, three city high schools, and small-town teams in a 20-county area.
Duties also include making sure deadlines are met and supervising the evening news reporter. The successful candidate will be a good planner with imaginative ideas for use of social media, web presentation and the use of staff, freelance and user generated content across a number of platforms.
Applicants should be hyper-organized and possess excellent planning, coordination and communication skills. We offer a salary commensurate with experience and three weeks vacation during the first year.
